Personal data

  1. The data controller of your personal data provided in the contact form is Aramco Fuels Poland sp. z o.o. with its registered office at ul. Jana z Kolna 11, 80-864 Gdańsk. Aramco Fuels Poland can be contacted via e-mail at odo@aramcofuels.com or in writing to the registered office address indicated above. Aramco Fuels Poland has appointed Data Protection Officer who can be contacted via email at iod@aramcofuels.com regarding all matters related to the processing of personal data.

  2. Your data in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter GDPR) will be processed for the purposes of:
    a. responding to your enquiries – the legal basis in this case is the legitimate interest of Aramco Fuels Poland;
    b. sending offers related to the execution of cooperation agreements – the legal basis for data processing in this case is to take the necessary steps towards execution and performance of agreements;
    c. promoting and marketing of products and services offered by Aramco Fuels Poland - the legal basis in this case is the legitimate interest of Aramco Fuels Poland, provided that you have given your separate consent (in the declaration below) for commercial information to be sent electronically to the e-mail address provided.

  3. Data will be retained for up to 12 months from the date of sending a response to an enquiry or an offer. Contact data needed for promotional and marketing activities will continue to be processed until you express your objection to such processing of your personal data.

  4. We may also transfer your personal data to operators who process personal data on behalf of Aramco Fuels Poland, including but not limited to: operators of IT systems, helplines or mailing services; whereas those operators process data on the basis of an agreement with Aramco Fuels Poland and in strict compliance with its instructions.

  5. Data may be accessed by entities supporting Aramco Fuels Poland in processing personal data, in particular other companies in the Saudi Arabian Oil Company Group, including Aramco Overseas Company and service providers providing IT services. Some of the recipients mentioned above are based in third countries: United Kingdom and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

  6. In the case of the UK, the European Commission has issued a decision finding an equivalent level as to the EU data protection rules. In the case of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, there has been no European Commission decision finding an adequate level of data protection under Article 45 of the GDPR. Accordingly, adequate safeguards have been implemented through the signing of standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. Access to information on safeguards can be obtained by sending a request to odo@aramcofuels.com.

  7. Every data subject has the right to access their data, to request rectification, erasure or restriction of their processing, as well as the right to object to the processing of their data on the basis of the legitimate interest of Aramco Fuels Poland, as referred to in sections 2(a) and 2(c). In the case of data processing for the purposes of execution and performing a agreement and referred to in point 2(b), there is additionally the right to data portability.

  8. To exercise the above rights, contact Aramco Fuels Poland or the Data Protection Officer (at the addresses first stated above).

  9. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Data Protection Authority.

  10. The provision of data is voluntary, but necessary in order to send a response or prepare an offer of services. If you do not provide your data, we will not be able to respond to your mail.
