Ensuring data protection in accordance with GDPR
The processing of personal data at Aramco Fuels Poland Sp. z o.o. is governed by the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation – hereinafter referred to as "GDPR"), the local Personal Data Protection Act and other provisions of Polish law supplementing GDPR.
Aramco Fuels Poland is the controller of personal data, including its employees, contractors and their representatives. In accordance with the GDPR, the controller is responsible for compliance with the principles of personal data protection. To this end, a Data Protection Policy has been implemented at Aramco Fuels Poland to ensure the implementation of GDPR obligations.
Appointment of the Data Protection Officer
Pursuant to Article 37(1)(b) GDPR, Aramco Fuels Poland has appointed Mr. Maciej Byczkowski as Data Protection Officer, whose task is to monitor the protection of personal data at the Company.
Data subjects may contact the Data Protection Officer on all matters relating to the processing of their personal data and the with the exercise of their rights under the GDPR via the email address: iod@aramcofuels.com. The DPO ensures full confidentiality of communications with data subjects. Pursuant to Article 38(5) of the GDPR, the DPO is obliged to maintain secrecy or confidentiality as to the performance of his or her tasks - in accordance with Union or Member State law.
